and it immediately gets going to reach the temperature that extracts the best flavor from green tea. Composed of sophisticated combinations of polished and brushed stainless steel, this stylish kettle has all the features you need to brew the perfect cup of tea. It gives a signal when it has completed its task, and the ability to keep the tea at exactly the same temperature for 20 minutes. 
Innovative is the sterilizing function. This heats the water to boiling point (100 °C) and continues to boil for 5 minutes. This perfects the water quality. The 40 °C function is ideal for preparing baby food and porridge. The 'keep warm' function keeps the water at the set temperature for 20 minutes if desired. It's very convenient for a second or third cup of tea. The taste of tea comes into its own at the right temperature, which differs per variety. Green tea is best enjoyed with water at 80ºC, white tea at 85ºC, Oolong tea at 90ºC and black tea at 100ºC. The kettle has a capacity indicator up to 1.7 liters and is equipped with a two-sided water meter.
