Order information
When you give a Pluim voucher, you are giving a personalised gift that enables someone to pick an activity or product that they like. Continue reading to find out how it works.
Ordering a "Pluim by post"
Pluim vouchers are printed in A4 size. The Pluim code and pin code are printed on the inside. The receiver uses this code to log in to pluimen.nl. The code represents the value of the gift, which has been selected by the giver.
You can easily order Pluim vouchers online. Simply complete the followings steps via our online shop:
Step 1: create a Pluim
Decide the value:
- Decide the value of the Pluim (between €5 and €1000).
Amend the design:
- Select a design theme for your Pluim.
- You can personalise the theme if desired:
- Front: change the title using the text editor and/or replace the image by uploading your own photo.
- Inside left: enter the name of the person giving the Pluim in the 'From' field.
- Inside right: you can use the text editor to add your own message. You can also add a small picture, such as a logo, at the bottom right of the page if desired.
- Do you need help designing your Pluim, or want a Pluim that matches your house style? Please contact us to discuss it.
Adding an extra gift:
We offer the option of ordering an extra gift, such as wine, champagne or Celebrations®, to go with your Pluim. The Pluim and the extra gift are packaged together, in a luxury gift box.
If you do not select an extra gift, the Pluim is shipped in a deluxe gift envelope.
Shopping basket
You have the option of adding an extra Pluim to your shopping basket. For example, one with a different value, or an extra gift.
Please note! It is not possible to combine multiple themes in a single order. You will need to go through the ordering process again to order a different design.
Step 2: set up a welcome page
The welcome page is an online page that the receiver of the Pluim will get to see when they check the value at https://www.pluimen.nl/pluim-verzilveren.
If desired, you can personalise the page using the editor provided, or by uploading your own photo or video.
Maybe you would like to give the receiver a suggestion on how to use their Pluim? You can select up to 4 suggestions.
Step 3: your details
In this step, you must enter the personal details we need to process the order.
- Do you already have an account? If so, you can log in and use your saved details.
- Enter the address(es) to which you want the Pluim voucher(s) to be sent.
- Indicate if the billing address is the same, or otherwise.
- Indicate when you want the order to be sent.
Step 4: select the payment method
Private individuals can only pay with iDeal, Mastercard, VISA, or American Express.
For corporate clients, we can instead send an invoice. New customers should expect a delay of one day due to a credit check.
Step 5: check your order
Here you will see a preview of the Pluim and the details you entered in step 3.
At this point, you can still alter sections or details by clicking [Back] at the bottom of the page.
Delivery via PostNL
Pluim vouchers ordered:
Pluim vouchers ordered before 4:00pm on weekdays are dispatched via PostNL on the very same day, provided that it is not peak season. Please note: Pluimen can only guarantee the day of dispatch, not the day of delivery!
Redeeming the Pluim:
Different delivery times apply if you have selected a specific product or experience for your Pluim. You will generally receive your Pluim within 10 working days. Magazine subscriptions can take up to 4 to 6 weeks. E-tickets are sent by email immediately.
All items ordered alongside a Pluim are delivered free of charge. If you or the recipient is not at home, the carrier will attempt to leave the package with a neighbour.
Deliveries over the holidays:
PostNL does not deliver on public holidays. Please bear in mind that there may be a delivery delay around the holidays. You can find more information on postnl.nl/feestdagen. Want to be sure your order will arrive on time? Please contact us to discuss it.
Delivery charges
Delivery charges vary depending on the number of Pluim vouchers and whether you have ordered something extra. Actual delivery charges are shown in your shopping basket.
VAT
Pluim vouchers are VAT exempt. However, VAT is charged on all other products and services (including packaging and delivery). All prices on our website include VAT. You can see exactly how much VAT is being charged in your shopping basket.
Track & Trace
Does your order consist of a boxed package? If so, you can track your shipment via Track & Trace. Once your order has been received by PostNL, you will receive an email with a link that allows you to check the status of your shipment. Also see the Track & Trace page at post.nl.
Ordering a "Pluim via email"
Our Pluim via email consists of a predefined template you can personalise yourself. In addition to an image and (your own) text, the email template contains a frame within which the Pluim code and pin code are shown. This code represents the value of the gift as selected by the giver. Any Pluim via email is sent from a secure server.
You can easily order Pluim vouchers online. Simply complete the followings steps via our online shop:

- Do you already have an account? If so, you can log in and use your saved details.
- Enter the email address(es) to which you want the Pluim voucher(s) sent.
- Indicate the name/names of the receivers; each Pluim is sent with a personalised message.
- Indicate if the billing address is the same, or otherwise.
- Indicate when you want the Pluim to be sent. The Pluim is sent within one hour of ordering as standard, or on a date / at a time of your choice.
Step 4: select the payment method
- Private individuals must pay for their Pluim via iDeal or credit card.
- For corporate clients, we can send an invoice instead. In order to prevent fraud, you must request such payment via invoice in advance. Please contact us to arrange this before you place the order.
Step 5: check your order
- Here you will see a preview of the Pluim and the details you entered in step 3.
- At this point, you can still alter sections or details by clicking [Back] at the bottom of the page.
