Buddy to Buddy is committed to all refugees who were forced to flee their homeland and are now in the Netherlands. We do this by pairing them up with people from the same city. A hospitable welcome, so that newcomers do not get lonely in this for them strange country, makes a huge difference. Together you go on a journey of discovery and get to know each other. In this way you enlarge your world and that of another.

We pair buddies, along with others, based on equality and common interests. Buddies meet weekly and we provide various group activities and guidance regarding contact. This ensures that buddies are not alone. 

Contacting, getting to know each other and connecting despite cultural differences while maintaining self-esteem makes a big difference. Connections and friendships create understanding and mutual integration. For, known makes loved. And if you are connected with each other, the differences may also be there. 

Throughout the Netherlands we have already connected more than 5000 buddies. And as far as we are concerned, that is only the beginning. Buddy to Buddy is dependent on gifts and donations. Therefore, we are very happy with your contribution so that we can make even more impact.
